Robert F. Best has a busy trial practice and consequently he is regularly involved as an advocate/litigator in multiple forums. He also serves as a certified facilitative mediator in several Michigan counties with an estimated settlement rate in excess of 75 percent. Both judges and attorneys regularly ask him to serve as a "blue ribbon" case evaluator in complicated litigation. He is a case evaluator in Jackson, Lenawee and Calhoun Counties. Additionally, he has served as an arbitrator for both the American Arbitration Association and Arbitration Services, Inc. Mr. Best regularly participates as a speaker in seminars for both attorneys and health care professionals. He is a member of the Michigan Defense Trial Council, Inc., and graduated from Michigan State University and the University of Detroit-Mercy Law School.

Major areas of practice: Civil litigation including both first-party and third-party automobile claims, medical malpractice, personal injury and workers compensation; labor and employment law; facilitative mediation.
